2017 Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen Fruits and Vegetables

January 5, 2017 By Anita Morgan Leave a Comment

Each year the Environmental Working Group rates produce for the amount of pesticide residue. The dirty dozen are the fruits and vegetables with the most pesticides. In 2017 they are strawberries, spinach, nectarines, apples, peaches, pears, cherries, grapes, celery, tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, potatoes. It is safer to purchase organic.

The clean fifteen are the fruits and vegetables with the least pesticides. In 2017 they are grapefruit, cauliflower, cantaloupe, kiwi, honeydew melon, eggplant, mangos, asparagus, papayas, sweet peas frozen, onions, cabbage, pineapples, avocados, sweet corn. Some of the sweet corn, papaya and summer squash are genetically modified.

I develop recipes that are rich in nutrients essential for bone health. I spend many hours researching and trying out the things I discover. One of my successes has been to increase my own bone density from osteopenia to better than young normal.

I help people enjoy optimum health naturally by sharing the results of my research and experience. about us
