Paleo friendly restaurants in Santa Fe, NM
During my recent visit to Santa Fe, NM, I ate dinner at six different restaurants. Since I was on vacation, I just looked for meals with no gluten and no nightshades (tomato, potato, eggplant, peppers). Not easy to find in a city known for its chili peppers. Restaurants altered their menu, providing me with delicious paleo meals.
The Mesquite Grilled Ribeye at the Radish & Rye Restaurant was my favorite paleo dish in Santa Fe, NM. It was tasty and tender, providing protein and good fat.
Tandoori chicken paleo meal, restaurant now closed
The chef at the Raaga East Indian Restaurant made meals to order and altered menu items on request. Because of this, I was able to eat paleo Indian food without nightshades. Tandoori Chicken is one of my favorite meals at Raaga.
Salad with Wagyu steak paleo meal
At the Ten Thousand Waves Spa, I had lunch at the Izanami Japanese Restaurant. The sous chef went over the ingredients and made alterations to conform to the paleo diet with no nightshades.
Hot Turkey sandwich, no bread, paleo meal
The Vinaigrette Restaurant in Santa Fe, NM altered their hot turkey sandwich to make it paleo friendly. They removed the bread and served me the filling. I actually didn’t miss the bread, the filling by itself was tasty.
Salmon salad paleo meal
The salmon salad at the Bull Ring Restaurant in Santa Fe, NM provided a paleo fish meal with vegetables.
The restaurants I dined at in Santa Fe, NM were happy to alter the menu to suit a paleo, no nightshades diet. I had good, healthy paleo friendly meals while I was there.
