Red Wine Promotes the Growth of Bifidobacteria
“Bifidobacterium and Prevotella amounts were significantly increased by RW (red wine)” according to a study published in “The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition” May 2013 vol. 97 no. 5 1053-1061
Effect of acute and chronic red wine consumption on lipopolysaccharide concentrations
When I read the results of this study, I began drinking one ounce of red wine daily. I pour my wine into a shot glass, and let it sit for several minutes to allow some of the alcohol to evaporate. To get a variety of microbes, I drink red wine from several countries around the world. So that it doesn’t interfere with sleep, I drink my wine with breakfast.
How Much Red Wine per Day
